Week Calendar

An early childhood music program for children 5 and under.  Bring your little ones and the whole family for fun and spend music time together!  This program will take place on the first and third Saturday of every month. 

Join us every Wednesday for an interactive storytime for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and grade school children.

Weekly activities include themed sensory bins, crafts, reading, games, and more. 

Learn or practice the basics of sewing and mending with presenter Morrigan Jones. Many supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring anything of your own that you'd like help working on.

Come each Friday to hang out with fellow homeschool friends and to join in on librarian-led, interactive activities for grade-school kids and teens. 

Students from Ohio University's School of Music, under the direction of Profs. Rebecca Rischin, Alison Brown Sincoff, Matt James, Matt Morris and Stephen Secan, will perform a rich variety of pieces for your enjoyment.

Gear up with skills and knowledge to drive yourself through some tough situations. In this 6-week course for teens/tweens led by a NAMI Athens Community Health Worker, we'll talk together about topics related to mental health.

Learn to use TinkerCAD to design things you can 3D print. From customizing your own D&D mini figure and personalizing gifts, to 3D printing replacement parts, TinkerCAD can open up a whole new world. 

Ages 12 and up.

We have lots of plain PopSockets- they need some jazzing up! You can choose to paint yours, decoupage a design or a photo onto your PopSocket, or just take one as is! We will provide all the materials you need. 

Join Millennial Librarian Sara and the UpCycle Ohio Community Makerspace for the second installment of the 1990s retro craft series! This session will allow participants to create vintage applique shirts, utilizing fabric and puffy paint.

Join us for a creative afternoon designing your own shirt using fabric pens and stencils!

Our ongoing program series Kids' Craft Corner aims to help kids of all ages express themselves through a variety of organized crafts. Some of our crafts do get a bit messy, but not to worry, we will supply aprons to protect clothing.

In this program for adults, we will be making gratitude journals. Studies show that writing down just a few things that we are grateful for can help us appreciate our lives. Entries can be made daily, weekly, or whenever we can manage it.
