Kids' Craft Corner: Cardboard Looms

Our ongoing program series Kids' Craft Corner aims to help kids of all ages express themselves through a variety of organized crafts. Some of our crafts do get a bit messy, but not to worry, we will supply aprons to protect clothing. We ask that kids, especially littles, are accompanied by an adult who can help them. 

Did you know that the art of weaving dates all the way back to ancient Egypt? It was how societies made their own fabrics. 

Did you also know that you don't need fancy equipment to weave? You can make something with just string and cardboard!

Join us for this month's Kids' Craft Corner where we will be creating our own cardboard looms and weaving a small tapestry using scrap fabric, ribbon, and yarn.
