Are you curious about green burial (also called natural burial), all the norm long ago and a growing trend today? We will cover what it is, how it works, and how it all started. We’ll also discuss local options and who might be interested.

Join us for stories, songs and more that encourage development of early literacy skills in young children.  Ages 3-5 years

NCBC is a weekly book club designed to include developmentally disabled adults. We read books together, discuss them, and then celebrate with a party! 

Weekly stories, playful activities, and songs. Stay afterwards for more fun with friends! 

Can't keep a plant alive?  You either over water it or under water it?  Have a brown thumb?   Join the crafters and I as we learn how to make succulents using felt material.

On the last Thursday of every month, meet other players, trade cards (we have plenty to share!), and enjoy themed games and crafts hosted by librarian Rachel.

The Bookmobile visits the FVRC in Stewart! Find books and other library treasures, bring back your borrowed library items, use our WiFi, and more. 

Although this is not a Spanish or English class, exposure to multiple languages at an early age will make it easier for your child to become bilingual.

Come each Friday to hang out with fellow homeschool friends and to join in on librarian-led, interactive activities for grade-school kids and teens.

Families with young children enjoy a variety of stories, songs, rhymes and movement activities while building early literacy skills.

Flex your creativity and test your luck with this popular fantasy tabletop role-playing game. Players of any experience level are welcome. *Ages 12 and up. 

Join us for a weekly baby & toddler storytime!

We'll build skills and socialize while we read books, rhyme rhymes, move our bodies, and sing songs.

Join us from 1-3 pm on Tuesdays for handwork and pleasant conversation. Bring a project to work on: embroidery, knitting, crochet, quilting, mending - whatever you like to do!
