Week Calendar

Adults who enjoy writing poetry are invited to share their work and comment on the work others.

NCBC is a weekly book club designed to include developmentally disabled adults. We read books together, discuss them, and then celebrate with a party! 

Each month, we pick an author and everyone reads one of their books. We'll talk about the books together and enjoy some snacks and have a grand old time. Our November author is Toni Morrison.

Join us as Bobby Hunt leads us through chair yoga exercises.

Join us from 1-3 pm on Tuesdays for handwork and pleasant conversation. Bring a project to work on: embroidery, knitting, crochet, quilting, mending - whatever you like to do!

Interested in old maps, local history, the built and natural environment? Join us for an exploration of the W.E. Peters collection from Ohio University Archives and Special Collections. 

With just a few household items, this Mason Jar craft will make a perfect decoration for your home or a wonderful holiday gift for a special someone.

Holy polyphonic improvisation, Batman! Athens's premiere jazz quartet, led by the inimitable Mr. Ted Harris, will grace Chauncey library with their dulcet tones and heavenly intonation.

Meet every week to practice your Spanish in a friendly community setting! Native speakers and those interested in improving their language skills are equally welcome. Free and open to the public.

Join us for an informal musical get-together every 3rd Tuesday from 6-8pm.

You're invited to listen or play, no matter your skill level; beginners are encouraged to learn from experienced players in the first half hour.

Munchies will be provided but feel free to bring your favorite treat.
