Come celebrate the resilience and stories of Athens County, Ohio, through the eyes of its community members.

Join us each month for a low pressure craft, designed to exercise your creativity. A different pairing of local coffee & tea will accompany each craft.

Families with young children enjoy a variety of stories, songs, rhymes and movement activities while building early literacy skills.

Join us from 1-3 pm on Tuesdays for handwork and pleasant conversation. Bring a project to work on: embroidery, knitting, crochet, quilting, mending - whatever you like to do!

Come each Friday to hang out with fellow homeschool friends and to join in on librarian-led, interactive activities for grade-school kids and teens. 

Come and join us as we work on yet another Diamond Dot keychain to add to your collection.  Succulents are the focus for the day.  All supplies will be provided.

Do your pants need patched? Does your hat have holes?

Join us for a month of mending with the upcycle Ohio Community Makerspace! 

Know how to mend and just need the materials? 

Help welcome spring by getting creative with crafts! We'll paint canvas bags and tea towels using cookie cutters and dried fruit, use air dry clay to make flower frogs, and build bug hotels.

Refreshments and all materials provided. 

Our little library is cute, colorful, and welcoming. But do you ever wish it was a little... slimier? You're not alone! Gastropods, goblet cells, and human children alike will rejoice as we make slime, glorious slime. 

Co-create a large "landscape" made of recycled egg cartons! First we'll paint, then we'll glue on whimsical features like pom poms, pipe cleaners, cupcake liners, and other repurposed goodies.

Our ongoing program series Kids' Craft Corner aims to help kids of all ages express themselves through a variety of organized crafts. Some of our crafts do get a bit messy, but not to worry, we will supply aprons to protect clothing.

Join Librarian Lorinda and paint a picture of a flowering cherry tree to welcome spring! Expect creativity and good conversation. All materials will be provided.
