Do you love to sew or have you always wanted to learn? Want an excuse to get together with friends to create something for a good cause? We could use your help!

In partnership with the worldwide movement known as Morsbags, the Athens library has started its own monthly bag-making group. Help us stem the use of plastic bags and get ready for our local single-use plastic bag ban by handcrafting and giving away as many reusable bags as possible (including for use at the library!)

All materials and some sewing machines will be provided (but feel free to bring your own sewing machine).
