Event Details
- Are you an adult in the community who is learning the English language?
- Would you like more practice in English grammar, pronunciation, reading, and vocabulary?
- A friendly setting where you can discuss questions about USA's culture?
Please consider pre-registering for the Athens Public Library English as a Second Language seven-week class.
This seven-week class meets in person each Wednesday from 10 AM - 12:30 PM (excepting March 11, the week of Spring Break)
January 28
February 4/February 11/February 18/February 25
March 4/March 18 (this final class will be from 1 - 3:30 PM)
Pre-registration in person at the Athens library or online is required. Please visit the event page for the first class to register and plan on attending all sessions.
If you miss the first class, your registration will be cancelled.
Limited to 14 adults (must be 18 or older).
More about our presenter: Carla Hirst is a certified Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) instructor. Carla has done private instruction for international clients since 2018. She assists clients to improve dictation, listening/speaking, accent reduction, grammar, vocabulary development, and reading comprehension.
