Bring your stardust squad for an enchanted afternoon of unicorn magic! To Celebrate National Unicorn Day (April 9), we'll make glimmering rainbow crafts, snacks, and mystical wonders, including whimsical attire for you to wear all week.

May the force be with you! Come celebrate all things Star Wars during this casual event in the children's area. There will be games, crafts and activities from a galaxy far, far away. All ages welcome. 

Fall down the rabbit hole into a tea party replete with whimsy and wonder.

...which means Summer at the Library, swimming, bike-riding, and NO HOMEWORK!

Create tie-dyed apparel like a bandana, t-shirt, socks, or even a pillowcase. (Feel free to bring your own items, too.) Teen Librarians Mel and Stacey are excited to help you bring more color into your wardrobe and into your world!

Get up close and personal with big trucks, and hear from the people who drive them. See cool vehicles of various shapes, sizes, and colors at the library, and learn more about how they are used in our everyday lives.

During this open house-style event, partners from local organizations will be providing Pride-related activities and information on local LGBTQIA+ resources for all ages and identities. Refreshments will be served.

Hang out, play games on the library’s Nintendo Switch, and enjoy some colorful snacks with Librarian Deidra.

Head to the library for an after-hours afternoon to dye a bandana (provided) or one item from home with library staff.

“Come on, grab your friends! We'll go to very distant lands” with Librarian Sara to celebrate her favorite children’s animated series, Adventure Time!
