Week Calendar

NCBC is a weekly book club designed to include developmentally disabled adults. We read books together, discuss them, and then celebrate with a party! 

Every month, we choose an author and everyone picks one of the author's books to read. No need for everyone to read the same book -- the point is that we all read something a little different!

Celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month with a performance by the Federal Hocking High School Jazz Band under the direction of Madalyn Staight. 

Join us from 1-3 pm on Tuesdays for handwork and pleasant conversation. Bring a project to work on: embroidery, knitting, crochet, quilting, mending - whatever you like to do!

Get a head-start on spring by making tiny pots out of Jenga blocks and trading our plant starts, either indoor or outdoor--you choose! 

Music student Kayden Brafford White in Saxophone Studio of Ohio University's School of Music in the Chaddock and Murrow College of Fine Arts has made beautiful arrangements for ensemble performance of music composed for video games.

Join us for an informal musical get-together every 3rd Tuesday from 6-8pm.

You're invited to listen or play, no matter your skill level; beginners are encouraged to learn from experienced players in the first half hour.

Celebrate Ohio's contributions to the film industry with this special Ohio Goes to the Movies  screening of classic film It Happened One Night.

This is a thematic creative writing workshop for borth poetry and prose, led by poet Wendy McVicker and essayist Stacie Somerset.
