Watershed restoration is painting a better way forward. Put your own paint to paper alongside representatives from Rural Action, creating art inspired by work being done to guard against acid mine drainage.

Jerri Brown from the UpCycle Ohio Community Makerspace will lead several workshops upcycling leftover material and packaging into charming and functional crafts.

Create tie-dyed apparel like a bandana, t-shirt, socks, or even a pillowcase. (Feel free to bring your own items, too.) Teen Librarians Mel and Stacey are excited to help you bring more color into your wardrobe and into your world!

In a supportive group setting, learn the basics from experienced painter Jean Vandervaart, or hone your skills if you’re already familiar with this medium. 

Using a STEAM-based approach, we’ll create, test, explore, and connect with some all-time favorite books.

Is your child a budding Picasso or Khalo? Make a mess-proof family heirloom with your little one using acrylic paint on canvas. Children ages 6 and under are welcome to join Librarians Rachel and Ellie in their studio.
