We'll read books, rhyme rhymes, sing songs, and color coloring sheets!

Meet every week to practice your Spanish in a friendly community setting! Native speakers and those interested in improving their language skills are equally welcome. Free and open to the public.

Step back in time with Brian Koscho, director of Invisible Ground, as we explore two new history markers located in Chauncey and Albany. We’ll learn about the Bailey’s Coal Mine and the town of Chauncey, as well as the Albany Enterprise Academy.

Meet weekly to explore tabletop role-playing games (including Dungeons & Dragons) with a group of teens and adults enthusiastic about this hobby. We’ll meet in the large conference room, with the Young Adult area as a backup space.

Your grandfather was a famous explorer, and now it’s YOUR turn to set off on an epic journey in Egypt to find a secret tomb and the lost mummy inside it. Team up to discover clues, solve puzzles, and unravel the mystery of the lost mummy.

Experience this classic fairy tale as never before with Stevens Puppets and their hand-carved wooden marionettes. Watch performers bring the story to life, then stick around after the show for a demonstration of how the puppets work.

Join Nature Center reps to learn firsthand about the creatures that can be found in your own backyard. Animal ambassadors will vary but could include snakes, frogs, and turtles. *This program may be outside, weather permitting.

Travis Harding & Lindsey Rudibaugh hiked the full length of the Appalachian Trail in 2018. It was both their honeymoon and a fundraiser for the nonprofit they now lead in Athens County, Tenderfoot Learning Lab.
