Come each Friday to hang out with fellow homeschool friends and to join in on librarian-led, interactive activities for grade-school kids and teens. 

Join us on the first Friday of the month. We have a variety of games available - board games, card games, Wii games, street games. Snacks provided. For all ages.

Friday night is the perfect time to be swept off your feet by the magic of cinema. Attendees will vote on G- or PG-rated titles chosen by the librarian, then enjoy light refreshments.

Our ongoing program series Kids' Craft Corner aims to help kids of all ages express themselves through a variety of organized crafts. Some of our crafts do get a bit messy, but not to worry, we will supply aprons to protect clothing.

Holy polyphonic improvisation, Batman! Athens's premiere jazz quartet, led by the inimitable Mr. Ted Harris, will grace Chauncey library with their dulcet tones and heavenly intonation.

Watch a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving while enjoying dinner with friends. Like the Peanuts the menu will consist of pretzels, jellybeans, butter-toast, and sundaes.
