Book Discussion / Literary ReadingProgram Description
Event Details
We are surrounded by stories every day. How do we write about the places we live and love? When a place is deeply familiar
to us, how can we continue to notice it in new ways? Who are our
stories for, who do we tell them to, and who hears us? For both first-time and continuing writers, readers, and
storytellers, this workshop is a chance to come together in a relaxed way to practice our skills.
Madeline will provide writing prompts, facilitate discussion, and answer
questions about her recent novel STAY AND FIGHT, which is set in our Ohio hills. There will also be a concurrent activity for kids, so please feel free to bring them!
