What is the Cannabis Museum?

Located in the former Hempery clothing store building in Guysville, the Cannabis Museum is a new heritage tourism attraction in the Hocking Valley and is a member of the American Alliance of Museums, the Ohio Museums Association, and the American Institute of the History of Pharmacy. Its mission is to “research, collect, preserve and disseminate knowledge about the artistic, medical, historic, and industrial venues of Cannabis.”

Our guest speaker, who will share about the historical and educational features of this museum, is its founder & president of the museum Board, Don E Wirtshafter. Also join us for the exhibit's reception from 6-7pm.
