WAYNE WOOD BOOK SALE

Like every other year during the Parade of the Hills Festival, we will be hosting a Book Sale at the Nelsonville Public Library. This year, we received an incredibly generous donation from Charlene Wood of her late husband's, Wayne Wood, personal collection; which allows us to provide more options for the community at the sale. Come see what we've got and go home with a new book, movie or music to dance to! 

Wayne grew up in a poor family. As an adult he would buy records, comics, and more; over the years he accumulated an extensive collection. He had many favorites including John Wayne, James Dean, The Guess Who and Louis L'Amour. His wife Charlene wanted to share his love of media and donated his collection to the library in his memory.
