Event Details

The first in our Fall WALK! Explore Athens County series. Join Athens Area Birder Stefan Gleissberg for a morning bird walk on The Ridges. We will look for migrating songbirds such as kinglets, warblers, and sparrows.  Meet in front of the Kennedy Museum at 7:00 am. We will walk around 1 mile with some hills. Dress for the weather, and bring binoculars if possible. Some binoculars may be provided. The walk will last an hour to an hour and a half. Precipitation and storm will cancel.
