"Encouraged by my father, a professional artist from New Rochelle, New York, I began drawing at an early age. I studied at Purchase College, learning techniques in painting, printmaking, drawing, and sculpture. Somewhat frustrated with established concepts of academic art at the time, I transferred and received a degree in Environmental Science, never finishing my art degree. Over the years, I have had a myriad of occupations but never ceased to find art as a calling. I find inspiration in surrealism, portraiture, and nature. I enjoy composing from life as well as imagination (Art, after all, is a form of language.) I am presenting 20+ years of a variety of artwork in different media.
