Event Details
Read and discuss with us Toni Morrison's breakthrough third novel and winner of the National Book Critics Circle Award in 1977. It was her first novel to feature male lead characters, and with it she conveys a gripping story about the quest for identity. This book club is honor of both Black History Month and to bring to happy close Ohio's year-long celebration of its literary daughter, Toni Morrison, who grew up in Lorain, Ohio.
Our guest speaker is literary scholar, Dr. Kristin Distel from Ohio University.
