Program Description

Event Details

This program kit will utilize the creativebug database made available with your library card. Creativebug provides many instruction videos offering step by step details. This kit will provide materials needed to complete the Botanical Leaf Embroidery design detailed by Lauren from Lark Rising Embroidery. You will receive an embroidery hoop, fabric, embroidery floss and needles. The pattern will be transferred onto the fabric for you. You can follow along the instruction video at your leisure. The class is described below:

"Learn different ways to stitch leaves and combine them together into beautiful bouquets of embroidery in this contemporary botanical design class. Lauren of Lark Rising Embroidery demonstrates how to transfer designs onto fabric, then how to combine straight stitching with satin stitches and the herringbone leaf stitch to create textural designs. The included pattern prettily illustrates the elegance achievable with very simple satin stitches. "

Materials are limited so registration is required and will open May 24th. Once registered, you will receive details to pick up your kit.
