Join us as we assemble and make our own rain barrels! Harvest rainwater from your downspouts, and reuse it for other purposes like watering plants. Bonus: a terrific way to save on your water bills in those dry summer months!Program leader: Teresa Caldwell from the Athens Soil and Water Conservation District. Space limited to 10 participants pre-registration required.  All materials provided, limited to one barrel per household. This class is presented FOR FREE (usual charge is $45) thanks to Athens County Public Libraries, Athens Soil and Water Conservation
District and a grant from the Buckeye Hills Resource Conservation and
Development. The class will also be at The Coolville Library on April 12 at 6pm, and The Plains Library on May 1 at 6pm.(photo courtesy of Rutgers New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station)
