Join Rural Action's Appalachian Understories for a guided bike tour along the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway. Pedal along the Hocking river to the Athens West State Park, where we will learn the names and stories of the wildflowers along the bike path.

This is a 7.5 mile ride with one road crossing on West Union St. The tour will begin and end at the Athens Public Library and will be suitable for young naturalists and cyclists.

*Arrive early for free bike rentals through the library (available on a first-come, first-served basis). Adaptive bikes are available for participants with limited mobility. Helmets are required for all participants. 

Minor children are permitted on this tour but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
