Join Rural Action's Appalachian Understories for a guided 23-mile bike tour along the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway. Pedal along the Hocking river to the Bluebell Preserve, as we learn the names and stories of the wildflowers along the bike path.

This guided bike tour is unsupported so participants are responsible for their own bike repair kits and water supply. The tour will begin and end at the Athens Public Library.

*Arrive early for free bike rentals through the library (available on a first-come, first-served basis). Adaptive bikes are available for participants with limited mobility upon request, contact Madison at Madison@ruralaction.org at least 24 hours in advance to reserve an adaptive bike. Helmets are required for all participants.

Minor children are permitted on this tour but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
