The Journey to the Center of the Earth was the first novel to feature the then-futuristic concept of a mobile light source powered by electricity. Construct a primitive but effective light of your own with mad science inventor-educator Lawrence King! Must have manual dexterity, tool working abilities, and a temperament for danger.
