Celebrate Earth Week with Jane Forrest Redfern of the Athens-Hocking Solid Waste District. Jane will be presenting a craft program using t-shirts: learn to make t-shirt yarn and try several crafts using it. It's a great way to upcycle!
A significant percentage of the waste stream in the US is composed of textiles; 85% of our clothing ends up in landfills or is burned.
This program will be at the Wells (Albany) Library at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, April 20.
All materials will be provided!
Registration is required; registration opens Monday, March 21.
