"The experience of color is an individual, completely unique, subjective one. I’ve often wondered if the red I see might be another’s green, or purple, or octarine. No one can legitimately tell you you’re seeing your favorite shade of yellow wrong! Color is an utter intangible, yet it feeds so many subconscious needs: the deep greens of a soothing forest after a stressful week, the vibrant red associated with love and power, the deep dark blue of the dusk sky, welcoming rest. The very stones in the dark earth can hold every color all at once if properly shaped to show their secret inner glow. Color shapes us: what we wear, what we drive, how others perceive us -- even who we love. A life richly saturated in color can be one full of energy, light and life. So please enjoy a few of my very favorite color combinations - may they energize you as they do me!" -- Olena Wilshanetsky
