Program Description

Event Details

The atlatl was originally a prehistoric hunting weapon used by stone age cultures throughout the world, and consists of long, light arrows called darts, which the hunter hurls at high velocity from a wooden, stone-weighted launcher.  This meet-up will serve as the local opportunity for the International Standard Accuracy Competition Day, in which atlatlists in teams all over the world are hurling their darts at regulation targets to professional standards of form.  This event also invites newcomers to learn and practice with them, borrowing atlatls from their club to use for the occasion.
