Try guided breathwork, relaxation, contemplation, and visualization to begin releasing the tension, pain, and disease that can reside within the mind. Our instructor will lead us in forming soothing mental images while incorporating our senses.

Research suggests that meditation may help the following conditions: insomnia, anxiety disorders, binge eating, depression, fatigue, high blood pressure, physical and emotional pain, substance abuse, asthma, heart disease, cancer, and allergies.

*Bring personal yoga equipment to this class, including yoga mats, blankets, pillows, and an eye cloth or pillow. Don't have these things? The library will have a few extras on hand.

About our presenter: Maggie Fekete is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) with Yoga Alliance. She focuses on improving flexibility and balance, building strength, reducing stress, and enhancing relaxation (and really enjoys leading guided meditation!) Maggie's teaching style directs the transformative process by allowing you the time necessary to go deep within your physical body, heart, and mind, creating a profound restorative experience. To learn more about Maggie's background, visit: www.maggiefekete.com/education
