Event Details

The Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of greater awareness and understanding of Korean history and culture. 

They will join us via Zoom to lead us in making Lotus Lanterns similar to those used during the annual Lotus Lantern Festival in South Korea. Take home your own beautiful lantern! 

A short documentary about South Korea will also be shown and there will be the opportunity to meet Korean and Korean American members of our community and hear directly from them about their favorite aspects of Korean culture. There will also be the opportunity to try some favorite Korean snacks.
