The Knights of Labor: Documentary Viewing and Concert of Traditional Music

Documentary filmmaker Burr Beard will give a viewing of his new movie, "Music of the Knights of Labor".  The film will be preceded by a brief presentation on the making of the film, and then an audience discussion will follow the viewing.  After the talk, the folk duo of Burr Beard and Jack Wright will perform songs traditional to the Knights of Labor, a 19th century workers' federation that fought for labor rights and was a predecessor to the United Mine Workers and the International Workers of the World.

Please Note: depending on the status of health protocols, this event will take place either outside on the Library Green or in the Large Meeting Room.
