High Tea in Nelsonville: Steampunks Draw Their Cups!

Join ACPL librarians Deborah, Abie, Todd, and Meredith; the Nelsonville AcornTV Fan Club; and Stephanie from the Athens County Knitters for a Victorian-style luncheon kicking off our annual Steampunk events. You'll get a preview of the wildly original, tea-cozied teapots set to be auctioned at the annual Steampunk Spectacle on Saturday, September 28 at the Athens Public Library and can enjoy droll conversation, light dining, and learn about the graces and customs of tea-time in the Victorian era. Members of Airship Athena, our local rollicking steampunk club, will crash the party, Mad Hatter-style!  Sponsored by the Friends of the Athens Public Library.
