Drop by the Athens library branch for a free day of exploring and learning about clean energy together! 
10am-12pm: Exploring Energy Workshop*
Facilitated by Rural Action Sustainable Energy Solutions, this free, hands-on workshop teaches participants how energy efficiency and renewable energy work. Free give-aways include LED bulbs, weatherization stripping, power strips, and solar lanterns. 
*Registration required online through the Expo event at myacpl.org/events, or in person at the Athens library branch. 
11am-12pm: "I heart our planet" Stories
Meet up in the kids’ area for this special storytime for children & their families.
12-1pm: Solar Cook-out
Featuring grilled foods prepared with GoSun Solar Stoves! Food and beverages provided by Rural Action. All are welcome.
1-3pm: Electric Vehicle Showcase
Join us for a Q&A with EV owners and enthusiasts, plus a 2:30pm ribbon-cutting and dedication ceremony for a new Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station at the library! Several EVs will also be on display in the parking lot.
2-3pm: Conversation Circle 
What everyday actions are you taking—or wanting to take—around renewable energy and energy efficiency? What’s holding you back, or what’s inspired you to act? Mediated by John Schmieding. Join us on the main library floor.
2-3pm: Energy Scavenger Hunt & Obstacle CourseTest your energy with Sarah from the Glouster Public Library! Kids and families welcome.
