Program Description

Event Details

We eat a broad variety of foods, rarely realizing the importance that chewing has on our health. We do notice, however, when it goes wrong.

Chewing actually requires careful coordination of the bones, muscles, and soft tissues. How do we do this so many times in a day, how do we study feeding, and what can we learn from it?

This program is part of a monthly series; check our online calendar for other topics.

Our guest speaker is Rachel Olson, a PhD Candidate with Ohio University's Department of Biological Sciences.
