Have you ever been told to keeppoinsettias away from pets? Or to be careful where you plant that
lovely oleander shrub you just bought?

In this talk, we'll explore the toxins
found in many common plants, which groups (children, pets, etc.) are
most susceptible, how the poisons enter the body and some of the
common symptoms, and non-toxic alternatives for our gardens. Our
guest speaker: Brandan Gray, Ohio University graduate student in
ecology and evolutionary biology, Department of Biological Sciences.
