Event Details

Join us for a Child-Led Axolotl Fan Club, meeting every First Friday of the month from 3-4pm. 

The Nelsonville Library's pet axolotls, Axel and Lottie, will be happy to see you!

Here are some Cool Things About Axolotls:

  • They're salamanders that spend their whole lives under water
  • They can regenerate limbs
  • Their DNA genome is 10 times the size of that of humans
  • They always look like they're smiling
