Week Calendar

Adults who enjoy writing poetry are invited to share their work and comment on the work others.

NCBC is a weekly book club designed to include developmentally disabled adults. We read books together, discuss them, and then celebrate with a party! 

Casual book talk with  community members. Light refreshments & snacks provided.

A teen-led social club that meets weekly to explore tabletop role-playing games (including Dungeons & Dragons) and Magic the Gathering. The club meets in the Large Meeting Room, with the Teen Area as a backup space.

Join us from 1-3 pm on Tuesdays for handwork and pleasant conversation. Bring a project to work on: embroidery, knitting, crochet, quilting, mending - whatever you like to do!

Join us for discussion of Amish stories and Amish life. We'll meet at 1:00pm every second Wednesday at the Wells (Albany) Library.
 

Meet every week to practice your Spanish in a friendly community setting! Native speakers and those interested in improving their language skills are equally welcome. Free and open to the public.

Munchies will be provided but feel free to bring your favorite treat.

Originally published in German in 1947, then published in English in 2009 after being rediscovered, Hans Fallada’s novel is also an excellent example of historical fiction that hews very close to pure history.
