NCBC is a book club designed to include developmentally disabled adults.We read books together, discuss them, and then celebrate with a party. All or no reading ability is acceptable.

Join us every Wednesday for an interactive storytime for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and grade school children.

Weekly activities include themed sensory bins, crafts, reading, games, and more.

Meet weekly to explore tabletop role-playing games (including Dungeons & Dragons) with a group of teens and adults enthusiastic about this hobby. We’ll meet in the large conference room, with the Young Adult area as a backup space.

Led by Teen Librarian Bryce, who will also be available to help players create characters and learn the basics of D&D 5th Edition. All materials will be provided.

Musician Megan Bee will introduce stringed instruments and lead sing-alongs in this hour-long intro to music. Get a hands-on taste of melody and rhythm by singing, clapping, and playing egg shakers to a variety of genres.

Map your way to the past with this exploration of historic adventurers and the tools they used to find their way around.

Stomp on down for this awesome party full of all things dinosaurs. Our prehistoric fun will include games, crafts, and snacks.

Learn about some of the amazing adventures SE Ohio has to offer, complete with prizes that can assist you on your own escapades some day.

Get up close and personal with big trucks and the people who drive them. See cool community vehicles at the library, and learn more about how they are used. 

Led by two guides, participants will meet at Dow Lake, where they will launch kayaks into coves and under giant oaks, learning about local history and flora/fauna as they paddle, reveling in all five senses.
