Workshop: The Impacts of Oppression and the Climate Emergency

Tammy Tucker and John Schmieding will co-lead this latest in a series of workshops addressing racism and climate change. Join us for the first time or come back to deepen connections and understanding. Participants will explore the deep connections between racism, other forms of oppression, and climate change. We want to listen to each other, build connections, and support individual and collective actions. Childcare will be available. Sponsored by UCM, SURJ Southeast Ohio, and the Athens Community Relations Commission.This event is planned and led by a community group using the library's free meeting spaces.
