Get to know Community Health Workers with the Athens City-County Health Department. Ask anything (really!), find local support, and learn about wellness topics and resources ranging from mental health to pain management--or whatever topic YOU want to discuss.All welcome. Confidential. Free and open to the public. Athens County Bicycling ResourcesThis month, representatives of the Athens City-County Health Department
will be at the library to provide bicycling resources including active
transportation tips, information about Ohio bike law, strategies for
riding safely, local trail information, and an orientation to the
library’s Book-a-Bike Program that allows anyone with a library card to
check out a bike and go for a ride. A limited number of helmets will be
available to visitors courtesy of OhioHealth.What’s a Community Health Worker?Trained community members who care about your health and will accompany you on the path to becoming the best version of yourself.
