Welcome spring with the ancient artistry of Ukrainian Easter eggs, or pysanky! Each egg in this collection melds tradition with modernity, featuring the intricate designs and vibrant colors that reflect Ukraine's rich cultural heritage. These pysanky are not only works of art but also symbols of life, rebirth, and prosperity, created by an artist born to the traditions. Be entranced by the never-ending, intricate patterns designed to capture and deflect the evil eye in some of the earliest magics of Europe, transformed by the arrival of Christianity into potent symbols of the Resurrection. Each piece is hand-crafted on genuine quail, chicken, duck, and goose egg shells in the traditional wax-resist (batik) method. Greet the yearly flourishing of new life with this age-old tradition!
