Take
a ride on a train-coach full of steampunks! Rolling across the
southeast Ohio countryside, sitting with passengers costumed like
they belong in a Jules Verne adventure novel, you may just feel like
you're in a time-warp! Featuring the Hocking Valley Scenic
Railway, our region's only tourist railroad, there will be
opportunities beforehand to pose with an historical steam-powered
locomotive engine that Nelsonville volunteers spent 7 years lovingly
restoring. This is a 2-hour round-trip journey, starting from the railway station in Nelsonville, Ohio.This is an off-site partnership event in celebration of Steampunk September.
