This year we take our inspiration from Jules Verne's novel on underground
exploration. Stop in throughout the day to enjoy this free community
festival for all ages!What to expect:-Science and costume craft workshops (registration required)-Land navigation and code-breaking programs  -Presentations on the secret geology of caverns and volcanoes (and Iceland!)-Local puppetry troupe Twig Theatre with Heidi Pendergast, master puppeteer-Outdoor recreational activities and indoor gaming-Themed artwork by local Stephen Richter, special guest illustrator -A low tea social with gourmet French treats -3rd annual library fundraiser silent auction: Astonishing tea cozies made by the Athens County Knitters (teapots included!)Sponsored by the Friends of the Athens Public Library and the Athens County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
