Librarian ToddBastin will guide us through the submarine odyssey of Jules Verne's
globe-spanning Victorian science fiction novel. The version we’ll
get to know in this presentation isn’t one of the watered-down
retellings for children, but the original book Verne wrote to
fascinate and inspire adults, including the little-known backstory of
an already mysterious character: Captain Nemo himself.
