Roboticist Dr. Bob will talk aboutspace robotics, haptics, and biomechanics for a lay audience,
including applications used in International Space Station and
planetary exploration.
Dr. Williams formerly worked for NASA
Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia. Since joining the Ohio
University Mechanical Engineering faculty, he's also spent summers
and sabbaticals working for NASA Kennedy Space Center,
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, and the University of Puerto Rico,
Mayaguez. Currently, he's establishing a collaboration with the space
robotics group of NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston.
