Best known as the author of the Chronicles of Narnia, C.S. Lewis (1898-1963) was a professor at both Oxford and Cambridge universities and a prolific author in other genres to include science fiction, literary criticism, poetry, and Christian apologetics. This lecture will focus on influential events and relationships that shaped Lewis’s writing.

About Linda Rice

Linda J. Rice, Ph.D. is James S. Reid / Standard Products Professor of Humanities and professor of English at Ohio University. She specializes in the preparation of future high school English teachers and is the author of more than 25 publications, including two books, 10 chapters for edited books, and numerous journal articles.
