Enjoy this rare opportunity to experience a live performance of music's oldest electronic instrument. The theremin emanates an electrostatic field which the performer manipulates in the air with both hands, one for volume, the other for pitch. Our guest performer is Aaron Butler of Ohio University's School of Music. Sponsored by the Friends of the Athens Public Library. This event takes place in the Raymond C. Cook Meeting Room.
