Stop by to learn more about the Ohio Afterschool Child Enrichment (ACE) educational savings account program: https://www.aceohio.org/
 


What is it?: $1000 per eligible child ages 6-18 for summer and afterschool programs (such as camps, tutoring, music lessons, etc.)

How to qualify: Be EITHER under 400% of the federal poverty level as a family OR be a resident in a qualifying school district (4 of 5 Athens County districts qualify district-wide, including Athens, Fed Hock, Trimble, and Nelsonville).

How to use the funds: Find an eligible provider in the Ohio ACE marketplace and use the funds directly with that provider, or pay upfront and submit a reimbursement claim (Families must link a bank account to get reimbursed.) *Current vendors in our area include Solid Ground, RAW camp, Ohio University College of Fine Arts, Columbus Zoo, COSI, Tecumseh Theater, and Bitangas in Pomeroy.

Or, visit Ohio ACE online and follow the application instructions. *Documents/info you will need: basic contact info, the last 4 digits of your child's or children's SS number, and either income or residence verification (such as pay stubs, benefits info, or a utility bill/lease/mortgage).
