Musical Performance: Solar Trio

Solar Trio was founded in 2021 with the purpose of the performance, dissemination, and composition of Latin-American music. Drawing inspiration from jazz and popular styles, Solar Trio aims to present this music with first-rate performance.

The ensemble has been invited to perform as guest artist in The Global Arts Festival 2022, and The South American Concert as part of the Athens Jazz Festival 2023. They have also performed in other local venues including The Memorial Auditorium, Multicultural Center Arts Gallery, Convocation Center, Walter Hall Rotunda among others and are a recurrent artist group for the AAUP. 

Solar Trio is currently working on their first recording project, their album will include original compositions as well as pieces of Colombian and Brazilian folklore.
