Miniature Tea Sets: A Collection

On Exhibit in the Glass Cases: January 14th thru February 27th.

"I began collecting miniature tea sets as a child. It was in the early '80s and I was in the second grade.  I find them to be so whimsical! Since then, I ask for them for birthdays and Christmas from family and friends.  I have collected over 250 sets (but I’m 47 now… that’s a long time for collecting!). I have sets that are handmade or hand-painted. I have sets made of porcelain, glass, tin, clay, wood, and plastic. The more unique the better. The smaller the better. Getting a miniature tea set is still my favorite gift. These tiny sets are precious to me in so many ways." -- the exhibitor
