Mid-Week Mischief: Folktales and Fables from Around the World

Lyn Ford is a writer, artist, and storyteller known for her engaging style. In celebration of National Tell a Fairytale Day, she will share a delicious collection of fables and traditional folk and fairy tales from Aesop to Zora, seasoned and stirred up in new ways for your entertainment. 

The stories-- including a Jack tale or two, rooted in the British Isles and known throughout the Appalachian region; a story of the Gunniwolf, a Southern folktale that blends African American folktale with European fairytale characterizations; and an Asian fairytale about a dragon-- will be enhanced with interactive experiences, call and response, and many silly moments. The young and the young at heart are sure to be delighted.
