Program Description

Event Details

In this practice, we'll hold poses for 3-5 minutes to experience the deepest stretch and begin the process of relaxing and releasing stored tension, pain, and thus disease. Yin yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga.

**Please bring any personal yoga equipment to this class, including yoga mats, blankets, pillows, and an eye cloth or pillow. Don't have these things? The library will have a few extras on hand.

Presenter Bio:

Maggie Fekete is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) with Yoga Alliance. She focuses on improving flexibility and balance, building strength, reducing stress, and enhancing relaxation (and really enjoys leading guided meditation!) Maggie's teaching style directs the transformative process by allowing you the time necessary to go deep within your physical body, heart, and mind, creating a profound restorative experience.
